The activities of the Samaj are managed by a Managing Committee which is an
elected body elected by its members.
Nominations from members and/or their family members are invited and
during the Annual General Meeting (AGM - which is usually held on the first Saturday or Sunday in
August) an open election is held to select the Executive Committee Members.
The Outgoing Executive Committee and the Incumbant Executive Committee members then hold a joint
meeting and the roles and portfolios to be handled up by each member are discussed and
decided during this meeting.
A formal handing over of Office also happens at this meeting.
Presently there are 11 members in the Executive Committee.
