Saraswat Samaj Bhajan Mandal

In 1991 Ram and Kunda Hosangady invited a number of Saraswats to perform Bhajan on the occasion of Anandashram Swamiji's birthday. It was such an exilarating experience to all who attended that some enthusiastic Saraswats thought of holding this type of Bhajan on a regular basis and volunteered to host it at their own residence. This Bhajan group has also raised funds for charity on several meetings.

Regular Bhajan meetings are currently held approximately third Saturday of every month except December. All young and old meet to sing devotional songs accompanied on Harmonium, Tabla and other instruments. The session lasts for approximately 2 hours and ends with Aarti performed by the host. Prasaad is served by the host.
